Review: Great sky view - We took a a camping trip to Big Bend National Park this past weekend. The temps were 110°+F during the day and 70 in the evening. The tent's large windows were a huge plus. We purchased a fan to help with evening breezes. It was super easy to set up and between hubby and I, it only took 5 minutes the second time. We did a trial run in our driveway at night in case we had to set up in the dark at campground. Even the first time was pretty quick. It's great to be able to fully stand up, then to be able to lay down and see wide range of sky. Tear down pretty quick, too. Very light, fairly small footprint. A little longer than average camp chair, but about the same diameter as one folded. I don't know why other truck tents aren't pop up. Makes zero sense to me. Since so many tents are that way now, I don't know why all of the truck tents wouldn't be. I looked at several brands and this was only one I found that was pop up without having to connect and thread poles. This is easily a one person job. We didn't try rainfly, so can't speak to weather durability yet nor to overall durability. But the straps were fine out of box and no issues there. One point: the plastic floor extends pretty high up the walls so if you're on a shallow pad or mattress, you're not really up where the breeze is. We purchased a fan that hung from ceiling and greatly helped with that. Value for money? I think it's kinda pricy for that size. You can easily get 2 person pop ups for well under $100. Even the taller popups are around $100. The biggest difference between this and those is the 6 straps added to tie down to truck. If course it fits exactly inside, but I bet others could, too. This was a last minute trip for our family of 6. If I'd had more time, I would have researched more to see what I could come up with before spending over $200 for a 2 person tent. The windows were our favorite feature along with ease of set up, and we hope we get our money's worth with this.
Review: Easy set up for sure - The first product I bought wasn't even the same brand. Someone made an honest mistake and sent me something completely wrong. They returned it and I bought the right thing. After the first tent setup, I was nervous about investing in this. The first one didn't go together easy, the poles were in another bag, I was hot and sweaty and kinda stressed after I got it put together. See the last pic for the wrong tent. I also saw that the wrong tent wasn't mostly a screen tent. I am making a trip where it will be hot and humid and muggy. I already know tent camping is hot, I didn't want to be completely uncomfortable. Well I got the new tent and first of all, the bag for it is very long. The other one was about a foot and a half maybe. So ok, that is different. Next the piles were attached. Wow, this us different! Putting it together, you put it in the back of your truck. Unfold it. Pull up the center so all the poles are kinda standing and push the center piece, it's under the main center, down to lock it. Then put your pole legs where they go, extend the front legs, and add the straps. I did it, by myself, in around 15 to 20 minutes. And I was reading directions every do often. The windows all zip up, but if you want rain protection use the rainfall. I haven't had it in the rain yet, but as with any tent I am sure the rain fly is there for a reason. As for putting the rain fly on? No instructions for it, but I put it on after I had already slept in the tent overnight. It was pretty easy without any instructions. Now for the pros and cons list: The good, it is super easy to set up it is nice and Breezy and makes for a very comfortable night's rest. Putting the rainfly on after it's been up is a little bit weird and it probably should get put on before you put the tent all the way up, but I wanted a screen tent to sleep in last night. The con, not cons but con: you can see in the couple of pictures before the video that for my particular truck there is a gap in the back where the tent doesn't fully go over the sides. The bad thing about that is if it were to rain I will have rain under my tent. I think I can make the rainfly work to keep most of the rain from going under my tent but it is not something that was thought of for my particular truck. I have a 2001 Ford F-150 dual cab small box. And it is the side step box so you can see from the pictures, that my truck actually kind of gets more narrow by the tailgate than it is up at the front by the cab. That is my only issue so far with this tent. I will update this review after my camping experience in a few weeks with more pictures I am sure. All in all I am happy that I have this I also have another mattress that I will be using for this. I have a pop-up camper and I will be taking the mattress off of one of the beds in my pop-up camper and using it it in here. I know some of you are saying why would I get a tent if I already have a pop-up camper, but I am pulling a horse trailer and going horse camping so I can't exactly pull a horse trailer and a pop-up camper at the same time. So this is my solution to that problem.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kept us dry
*by A***R on 19 July 2023*

Overall this was a great tent. We moved to a different campsite daily since we were traveling all around the Upper Peninsula in Michigan. Super quick set up and tear down. We did experience a pretty good rain one night in it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the rain fly. It needs to be about 12” longer on each side so that it hangs over the bed of the truck. We got some good side rain and the actual tent wasn’t 100% waterproof. This can be solved by applying your own silicone tent spray or a longer rainfly. Now for the positives. My wife loved all of the storage. Can stand up in this one. 99% waterproof. Compact. Easy setup and tear down. Full size tent fits the newer Ram trucks with the Rambox storage perfectly.
