The Yamaha Seal scooter is an entry level YME23002-Seal designed for younger recreational divers and snorkelers. Cruising at speeds up to 2. 0MPH (3. 2Km/H) with a depth rating of 15ft (5M) the Seal is perfect for shallow dives, snorkeling adventures or Chasing Fish.

Review: Customer Service - We bought this for our 8 year old boy. It is a bit bulky, but he loves it. I followed the instructions exactly. it worked for the first 2 charges. On the 3rd, the battery died even though I charged over 12 hrs. The batter had no juice. It was making a chirping sound, then died completely. Of course, all this happened, 2 days after my return window. I called desertcart. They were super understanding. She offered to send me a free battery first. If that does not work, she offered me the opportunity to return. She told me she made a note in my account so I would be able to return later. So far, I have not had a chance to try the new battery out, but super happy with the service I received.

Also, the battery takes much longer to charge than suggested in the manual- 12 to 16 hours for us before the green light illuminates on the charger. The seal on the cover has been flawless.

**Q: Does it leak in battery compartment ?**
A: We have two; one is working well but one is not. One will work for about 5 minutes and quit; have to sit it upright on pool side for about 5 minutes and it will operate again for a few minutes. In the process of returning this unit. Attempted additional sealant outside cap seam to no avail; obviously water is getting into compartment and shorting out power connection.

If that does not work, she offered me the opportunity to return. She told me she made a note in my account so I would be able to return later. So far, I have not had a chance to try the new battery out, but super happy with the service I received.

++Updated++ I didn't give up because my kids love it. So we bought a new battery for $100 then really sealed battery compartment with a really good plumbers grease! Really lay it on rubber gasket. Everytime u stop and charge seal again and again. It has worked ok since then. Seems battery was getting wet and went bad. Also water was getting inside and sharing out? When sealed with a ton of plummer's grease it's been ok. Pile it on! Everytime over and over lol Bought for Christmas. It just got hot. We used it for one charge. Now it works few seconds and dies! This is the last time I buy one. Don't waste your money like I did. I read reviews but thout somehow would be able to keep it working. Waste of money and can't return since it was Christmas present?
