A: No this part# WM8CX does NOT come with a base.  You would need to order WM8CX-WB.  (with base)

**Q: Do have a dual with blue on one side, red on the other?**
A: yes

**Q: How long will these diamonds last?**
A: Very long time. Just keep it clean and it will work fine for a very long time. I haveone I got 2004 and it still works fine. And it’s still flat.

**Q: Is the extra coarse stone different on both sides**
A: This sharpening stone comes with two grits - coarse and extra course.  One grit is on one side of the stone and the other grit is on the opposite side.
