One side consistently “catches”. Any advice?** A: I would make sure that the pulley was in the exact center of the door and door frame. Also before starting make sure that the cords are straight and untwisted and that the cord is consistently smooth from one handle to the other. If it's still catches there might be something wrong with the actual pulley channel that the rope passes through. I would return and reorder if it continues to catch. Mine does not catch at all. **Q: How thick is the rope?** A: not real thick but is really strong, works well, i purchased it for my wife after she had shoulder surgery.
