## Description

These JCP replacement spring cassettes can bring new life to sagging or broken UPVC door handles that do not return to the horizontal position. Designed to sit underneath the handle backplate with the spindle going through the top square they can be fitted either way round and will provide tension and a return action when the handle is lifted upwards or downwards. Careful measurements are necessary before ordering as the cassettes are not universal and will not fit all handles. N.B. These will not fit a 70PZ/70mm handle. Review: Great item, so easy to fit! - My patio door handles had lost their “spring” and didn’t bounce back to the level position. I was going to call a locksmith to have a look but I am sure they would have charged an arm and a leg. So I took the handles off and saw the problem was the spring cassettes in the door handles both sides were broken. I googled what they were and where to buy. desertcart came up the cheapest. I purchased a pair, they turned up really quickly. Then I replaced the cassettes in each side of the door. This was sooooooh easy to do, a child could do it. My door handles are now back to full working condition, for a fraction of the cost to pay a professional. Honestly just so easy and done in minutes.

**Q: Patio door only had a spring cassette on internal handle.As there are 2 should I also fit one on outside handle**
A: Hi, thank you contacting us. Yes on some handles like the 'Hoppe Birmingham' it's standard to have only one handle spring fitted to the internal side. However you can fit an extra spring to the outside handle, this will create a stronger return action and prevent the handle from sagging.
