I recently upgraded my note 3 to the 5. The 3 was protected by an otterbox, which i liked, even though the thing that prompted the replacement was a shattered screen that I lived with for a year. I was going to get another otterbox, but their note 5 case colors were less that desirable to me. So I gave this one a try- Glad I did. Not only was it 1/4 the price of the otterbox, I actually like the feel better. While I waited for the case to arrive, I nearly dropped the phone several times, as caseless, it's super slick and slim. This case gives it a much better size for my hand and the rubber outer shell is slip resistant. The finger ring / kickstand is a great feature. The case having that "grippy" feel is a major plus as its easier to hold the large phone with small hands and it not constantly slip out.
