I am getting into pressure cooking and produce prodigious amounts of it.** A: I only save grease I am going to reuse. I use this for bacon grease, and it never gets completely full because I use the grease in dishes that benefit from bacon grease. This isn't intended for large amounts of oil you would use for deep frying. If you want to save and reuse deep frying oil you will need something much bigger. You wouldn't be saving normal grease from meat dishes or grease you would skim off of soup or gravy. You would dispose of that after it has cooled. For non-reusable grease and oil I let it cool, and put it in a zippered plastic food storage bag for disposal. **Q: I am confused. the mfg states quart capacity but a reviewer says 2 cups. which is it?** A: The container holds 4 cups of liquid at full capacity. However, when the lid/screen is used, it can only be filled to approximately 31/2 cups until it reaches the screen. **Q: So does this 4qt container hold 4 quarts of liquid (128 oz) or what? Please someone help** A: It does not hold 4 quarts like it states. It will hold 3.75 quarts. I had 1 cup left over using a gallon (4 quarts) of new oil. **Q: How tall is it?** A: The picture you see here is not the one I ordered. Mine is the OGGI 7324 model. 1 Qt and is 5.25" tall. It is stainless steel, has a pour spout, comes with a hinged lid that one piece with the strainer which slides down into the can and can be removed to empty the grease out.
