You will then have just a plain pill box. **Q: How long does the alarm beep for?** A: It beeps periodically until you hit a button on the side after you take your medicine. It has been the only thing that has worked for my mom with dementia. **Q: Is there a way to turn off the beep and just use the light reminder?** A: Not that I am aware of **Q: Does it dispense medication upto multiple times a day?** A: No, it is only set up for twice a day. If I find that I need something between times, I simply set the medication’s bottle on top of the unit.
