**Q: Are they flushable in toilet?**
A: Thanks for your question. No, while Portawipes™ are biodegradable as advertised, they are NOT designed to be flushable. In order for a wipe to be labeled as "flushable" it must meet certain industry criteria in terms of losing strength and integrity within minutes after becoming wet and ultimately break up shortly after it enters a sewage system. Due to the strength and re-usability features of Portawipes™ they cannot be compliant with flushability standards. Please dispose used wipes properly after use.

**Q: -  What are the dimensions of this item?**
A: Thank you for your question. Portawipes measure 9.45*9.45 inches in size

**Q: Can you dip these in rubbing alcohol as you do water, & use them as a sterile gauze, disnfecting wipe, or even a firestarter?**
A: I have about one dozen in a canister with alcohol (cut with just a bit of water). They make great alcohol wipes.

**Q: How is biodegradabiility certified? most products the claim to be biodegradable don't meet specific industry testing specifications (i.e. astm)**
A: These are on the thicker side. While it might be biodegradable I’m sure it will take a long to and might clog the toilet

OK, so I bought these because of the coin like size and that i could wet them myself eliminating weight for an ultra-light hiking trip. These things are amazing! and for so many reasons. First off, they are durable and have a softness to them that was unexpected. There is no smell or chemicals in them. They can be reused once they are wet and in the form of a cloth you can use them a few times and they don't tear or fall apart. I can't say enough great things about them. I put a handful if them in my car, backpack, gym bag, desk etc. I always a have a water bottle with me and when you need one you just pour about a cap full of water on it and it expands, then you can put a little more water to open it up. IT can be a face wipe, car wipe, hand wipe, etc. IF you leave it out it will dry into a square soft wipe and can be used dry or re wetted. THE UNEXPECTED use I had was a cooling towel.. I put two in my back pack pocket, I was hiking in AZ and opened one up to wipe my dirty face and neck from the dust. I just quickly used my hydration pack water to open it up. after I used it I was just carrying it and began to reuse it over and over to wipe face, I realized that every time I put it on my face it was cool, I would occasionally add a little water and it was great to keep me cooled off. I ended up attaching two together to wrap my neck once it got hotter and it was great. I think they sell a bigger version which I will buy- its amazing. Also at home I use them with a little spray of water and essential oil for a refreshing wipe and an added fragrance. Buy these things you'll love them
