This product will probably darken them and change the finish. Is this the right product?** A: I doubt it. I use this on all my exotic boots. Alligator, Caiman, Lizard, Snake, etc... I have a pair of black Lucchese lizards and have had ZERO issues. This is a neutral color so when you apply it will darken slightly but dry clear. I have used on light brown, chocolate, black, cordovan, etc... I use this again on all my exotics and it works great. I also use the Saphir neutral polish on the toes/heels to get a high shine. Really good stuff **Q: what is the best saphir product for ostrich ?** A: Saphir reptan Cream. Works amazing **Q: this product comes in 75ml or 50 ml???????** A: 75ml jar. But this size is being discontinued. In the near future 50ml jar. **Q: Does this darken the color?** A: Yes it DOES DARKEN REPTILE HIDE...it darkened my handbag by several shades. This is what happens to any leather or hide because you're essentially putting oil (mink oil, bees wax and lanolin(from sheep's wool) and there's no way it wouldn't darken the reptile hide. It's like a saddle...they can be light colored when new, the older saddles become quite dark after "conditioning"...so I don't know where these other people are getting their answers from (sellers?).
