Review: Magic in a bottle! - Literally magic in a bottle. I recently found out that constant itching I have always had and build up of flakes is because I have seborrheic derm in which I have been trying the past month to calm down with nizoral. It’s made it more bearable but my hair still got smelly, itchy and heavy flakes two days after I washed. Then I asked chat gpt if there is a serum out there that could calm this down for good and basically extend my washes so I don’t have to keep washing my thick hair every other day religiously and it led me to dermazen. Within literally one second of applying dermazen, the itching stopped, it works so well. My day 3 scalp felt as calm as if I just came out of the shower. I am excited to see the long term effects of this product but I will say, even though it’s a hefty price, it’s worth every penny. I am so happy I finally found something that works for me. For those wondering about the texture of the serum, too me it feels more watery than sticky. It has a faint smell of tea tree oil but its not strong enough to make your whole scalp smell like it. I am using it in between wash days as a leave in or overnight before a wash but I am still finding out what works best for me.

**Q: this must be washed off?**
A: No. It’s meant to be left on, like a toner. It is very slightly sticky when used at full strength- I dilute it 50% with purified water because it’s very concentrated & a little strong for my sensitive skin. When diluted it’s not sticky. I just mix half & half in a small cup, dip a cotton pad & swipe it on.

**Q: Does it have to be washed off daily? I have dreads, and can’t wash my hair for weeks at a time.**
A: If you leave it in, your hair around the scalp area may look greasy but it won't feel greasy. It will feel coated. I leave it on for about 2 hours before washing my hair and I wash my hair with a dandruff shampoo. The dandruff shampoo. by itself, doesn't work half as well as using it in tandem with Dermazen.

**Q: Can I use this serum on my scalp during the day or will it make my hair oily?**
A: It doesn’t make it oily feeling. It is more like hair gel looking when it dries. It would feel or look about if you had salt water in your hair after a day at the beach. If I need to wear it, I use it overnight and wash in the am. Or I brush it to slick it back into a ponytail. But no, oily isn’t the word. And remember it only goes on the scalp, you don’t need it to go all the way down your hair.

Literally magic in a bottle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing results with simple clean ingredients!

It took about a week to start working. And once it did I was astonished, up until that point I had found nothing natural that would ease the constant itching and the flaky buildup. After using the chemical laden dandruff shampoos since childhood (now in my 30's), and trying over and over again to "train" my oily hair per many hair experts recommendations. I was always just left with hair that was oily, itchy, and flaky everyday. And in recent years it seems my poor scalp condition and constant itching had led to hair loss. As my sheding was very excessive to the point that my hair was looking very thin. After using now for a little over 3 months I can say that I absolutely love this stuff. It really havls changed my life and brought back my hair confidence, after the first week being successful with the serum I ordered the shampoo, and wow my scalp got even better. The shampoo helps to thoroughly cleanse my scalp and the built up oils without drying me out. I do still produce excess oil but now my hair doesn't look like a gross greesy mess by the end of the work day like it used to, it doesn't look overly greesy until the next morning just in time for another shower. While being the cool girl that only has to wash her hair once a week may never be in the cards for me, I'm more than happy to just have a scalp that isn't itchy, flaky, irritated, and even painfull. And I'm happy to report my hair is growing back! I throughly enjoy the strong herbal scents of the serum and shampoo, and the short list of recognizable ingredients is so incredibly amazing, it makes my crunchy heart very happy. I cannot recommend this product enough. In fact I just found out that my cousin has been struggling to treat cradle cap on her 4 year old, and was using a drug store dandruff shampoo, I turned her on to Dermazen and she was very intrigued based on the clean simple ingredients, and the success I had seen myself.
