I would suggest to upgrade the firmware for the dongle. My came with version 1.08 and the latest version at time of writing this is 1.12. Note that when you download the DFU tool from Hiby the default is in Chinese. To get English make sure to edit HiBy_DFU_Tool.exe.config by changing default language from zh_CN to en_CN before running the HiBy_DFU_Tool.exe. Also the upgrade will work only with the unit connected to USB 3.0 port - when connected to newer variants of the USB port the tool was crashing before performing the firmware upgrade. When paired with a good pair of I.E.M's the sound can be astounding , there is however one caveat, not all phones have the ability to interface to this leading to stuttering sound and playing slow.
