You should replace your cartridges on a monthly basis, but can rinse them in between changes. The Bio Scrubbers should literally last forever, unless you lose them or damage them somehow. Wash these off in a bucket of tank water with a toothbrush. **Q: Does it have a warranty** A: Yes, it comes with a 3 year warranty on all manufacturer's defects.
