Why did I wait decades!!! to buy a wool blanket? I cannot say, but I can say this was the BEST purchase I have ever made, period.Good points:1. Local California Business2. Merino, a wool I am familiar with and can in fact wash by hand (I do it all the time)3. Size: stated size was full/twin. Most sellers say that and it is not true: this is VERY true. Fit my twin from top to bottom, with 6 inches of blanket draping on 3 of the sides.4. Does it work? Heck yes! In 5 minutes my freezing cold feet were warm and I was asleep.5. Added bonus: no shockes from electric blankets. (laughs)Would I recommend this: YES. It is a great value for the money. It is lovely to look at (I purchased the cream and antique teal). It is WARM; it captures your own body heat and keeps it there! Wool blankets have been around for centuries and there's a reason for that. Value for money spent. You'll probably give your blanket to your kids or grandkids. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2017* Little scratchy, but very warm. Love the colors! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Top quality breathable wool blanket *by Z***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2018* My wife wanted a throw blanket for Christmas, and I liked the idea of a real wool blanket. She absolutely loves this one! The color, stitching around the edges, and overall quality are top notch. It's warm and comfy, but breathable and not hot, it's soft and plenty large (about 5'6"x 7'6"). Upon first use the blanket was a little scratchy/itchy but it softens up after a few days. It's my wife's go-to blanket for wrapping up on the couch with. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/46924549-woolly-mammoth-woolen-company-farmhouse-collection-french-country-wool-blanket](https://www.desertcart.us/products/46924549-woolly-mammoth-woolen-company-farmhouse-collection-french-country-wool-blanket) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
