The wire is garbage, and is approximately 20 gauge. The control wires (the ones from the 3-pin male plug) have have same wire diameter as the ones carrying power to the headlamps. The insulation is thicker on those, but the wire gauges are identical. The 20ga size is adequate for controlling the relays, but the other wires are WAY undersized for the load. I am also not impressed with the quality of the relays. Maybe it's just that I'm used to industrial control quality relays, but these are not hermetically sealed, and I expect moisture to get into them at some point. Basically, the only redeeming value out of this assembly was the ceramic sockets, which I could have bought cheaper separately had I known that's all I'd get from them. I ended up ordering terminals, and building my own harness using Ancor Marine 14ga wire and some no-name but better quality relays. **Q: Guaranteed to work on my stock 93yj jeep wrangler? tried the octane lighting harness and no go. spoke with them and they said they don't have one** A: Yes it would work perfect **Q: Where can I get replacement relays the ones that come with it get moisture inside them since they been installed** A: Search for "Bosch style relay", "ice cube relay", "5 pin automotive relays ".... or some combination... on Amazon you should find 6 w/ sockets for about $10-$15 ... You won't be disappointed. *by A***R on February 28, 2018* I drive a 2001 XJ and had the usual headlight issues. After researching I decided on an H4 upgrade. It seemed like the only offering for an upgraded harness was the Putco, but after talking to people who bought the harness I realized I'd be better off building my own. I wanted ceramic connectors and after a quick search found this. I decided to go with it because of time constraints and figured I could modify the harness if I needed to.It arrived on time. The harness itself is sturdy, the connections are solid, and very well built. I mounted the relays on a panel just behind the battery. All the wires have plenty of length and it has an inline fuse. The relays are sealed well and look nice when mounted. I suggest using electric grease on the bulbs for easy install. With the ceramic inserts it's tricky getting the bulbs all the way in without it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must-have for LED swaps on older Toyotas! *by M***F on June 17, 2019* This is exactly what I needed for my 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo's low/high beam LED headlights to function properly. If you are only able to get low beams and not high beams to function, or vice versa, this harness is what you need.
