## Description

Make healthy, flavorful meals in the Presto® Electric Pressure Cooker Plus, a versatile device that works as both a pressure cooker and a slow cooker in one. Cook meat, fish, chicken, vegetables, beans, rice, grains, even desserts—just set it and the rest is automatic. Choose function settings for high and low pressure, slow cook, brown, sauté, and keep warm. High-speed pressure cooking preserves flavors and nutrients, tenderizes less expensive cuts of meat, and cooks up to 70% faster than ordinary cooking methods, saving both time and money. A special rack is included to use when cooking several foods at once without intermingling flavors. Remove the PFAS-free ceramic nonstick pot for easy cleaning. The Electric Pressure Cooker Plus features 19 programmed settings, including 12 pressure cooking presets, and additional settings for manual programming. All-digital controls and an LED display help set and show the remaining cooking time while in use. It automatically maintains the proper internal pressure, then reduces the pressure naturally and switches to the keep warm function when cooking time is complete. Or, you can manually activate the valve lever for quick pressure release. Review: Great all around unit - This unit although made in china...has many good features to it and once you get familiar with it ease of use. Like many foreign made products manual are written by individuals not familiar with the units or the language because they are translating into English and several other languages which they may be using google or some horribly inferior . This unit will likely replace my rice cooker as well but trying to eat healthy will not likely include rice. The rice cooker steams veggies but does not "pressure cook" big difference. The free delivery W/O prime was originally stated as about a week, but came much sooner (Wed rather than Sat or later) so this part was awesome! Very pleased...I cooked my lentils in about 20 min...time to heat up..cook...then cool enough to open. Also a Yam about the same, but it seemed to indicate sliced so I did and they were perfect! It slow cooks, steams and pressure cooks with preprogrammed setting but you can change if you desire. Great purchase and value,...I highly recommend

ORIG - Bought this awhile ago, but wanted to use several times before I rate it. I use this on weekends to make my lunch and dinners for the week. I mainly use saute and pressure cook; slow cooking never really worked for me nor do any of the other fancy settings. This has cut my cooking time from all day to couple hours. Pros: 1. Works as directed (always a good thing) 2. Removable cord 3. Is simple enough for tech challenged individuals to use 4. Keeps flavor profiles intact 5. Nonstick pot 6. Even sauteing as opposed to my 2 IPs 7. Price point for value Cons: 1. Doesn't have a stainless pot option (not necessarily a bad thing though) 2. Hard to see red light (make brighter?) 3. **Q: Hoe does the pressure this gets compare to the standard pressure cookers? I tried InstaPot, and its pressure too low.**
A: At 9 psi (so-called "High") and 5 psi (truly "Low"), this Presto will disappoint you much more than the the 6- and 8-quart Instant Pots. The IPs' High ranges between upper-11 psi & low-12 psi. The newest Instant Pot "Max" can reach the 15 psi that is standard for *stovetop* pressure cookers. Good luck! (Btw, I have no connection with Instant Pot, other than being a new owner of a 6-qt Duo Plus; I've also owned four stovetops over the years, all of them got up to 15 psi.)

**Q: Can I make yogurt in this machine as people have in the instapot?**
A: Yogurt is not recommended for the 02141 Presto® electric pressure cooker. This unit although made in china...has many good features to it and once you get familiar with it ease of use. Like many foreign made products manual are written by individuals not familiar with the units or the language because they are translating into English and several other languages which they may be using google or some horribly inferior . This unit will likely replace my rice cooker as well but trying to eat healthy will not likely include rice. The rice cooker steams veggies but does not "pressure cook" big difference. Very good product. Just make sure the lights run sideways when it's on keep warm. If not, it's not keeping warm. (I learned that the hard way) I recommend watch the video on the product beforehand. There is a QR code that will take you to the YouTube video. It's easy to clean but most parts are not dishwasher safe. I by accident put the cooking rack that comes with it in the dishwasher, and it is now faded and discolored. I think the inner pot is dishwasher safe but have not tried it. I don't want to take the risk. It is very easy to clean by hand. It's nonstick.
