I'm pleased to report that at least with the official PS5 controller, it works exceptionally well! I play retro fighting games competitively and have tried my hand at speed running in the past - stuff which involves 1 frame links and tricks, so I'd consider myself pretty sensitive to input latency ('lag'). It's genuinely so responsive I couldn't tell the difference. I played for hours and hours over the weekend, including games like guilty gear, mvc2 and gitaroo man. Either I'm getting old and slow, or in this setup with the PS5 controller it is essentially lagless. In any case I don't think the brook wingman will ever be the bottleneck causing lag problems in your setup. I haven't had it long, so I can't speak to its longevity. Functionally this gets a perfect score from me. Other major perk - it is *really* easy to pair with most controllers. It truly is a plug and play device, which counts for a lot in retro gaming. So yeah, I would whole heartedly recommend one of these, and can vouch for its performance with the PS5 controller.
