These Csy Handmade Metallic Watercolour Paints are perfection! They have a Pearlescent finish to them which positively shimmers. I've used them as 'additions' in my watercolour paintings, and have tried them in Calligraphy - although I'm no expert at calligraphy, but the paints do give a rather nice 'she knows what she's doing' sort of finish to the end result, which is rather pleasing since I don't (know what I'm doing, so to speak). This review is being left for the box of Metallic watercolour paints in the blue colours - which are christened' with the delightful name of Mermaid Coast. The quality of the paints are truly amazing. I've tried other metallic/shimmery paints from various makes and always thought they were OK, but I didn't realise that they were only ok until I tried these. These are ahhhmazing. They are easy to pick up with your brush and don't need you to do a massive spray of water. I use a crafting/watercolour spritzing spray and these paints only need a very gentle squirt of water in order to activate them. The finish of them, when dry, is just totally magical. I love them very much and since buying this set I've bought other sets and can HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. Hope this review has been of help, but if I've forgotten anything, I think you can ask questions in the bar, which you'll find a little way above the review section.
