We had it professionally installed and were most pleased with the quiet cooling efficiency of the fan. The remote made it so easy to adjust the speed of the fan and the brightness of the light Our electrician suggested we have the remote holder mounted on the wall by the light switch. It was a great idea ! We always know where the remote was. We had the first one installed in our master bedroom. We were most pleased with the fan. We then proceeded to order two more for the family room and the office. The fan does come with different lengths of bars to be able to adjust from the ceiling. Since we liked the look and efficiency of the first 3 fans we ordered 3 more for the upstairs bedrooms We had ordered a total if 6. ! When our electrician was asked for recommendations for ceiling fans from other customers, he highly recommended the same Sofucor fans he had installed for us.
