Is it supposed to be sitting on your ears similar to headphones, or is it supposed to be in your ears?** A: underchin and in your ears. **Q: Are these good for listening to music; do they produce a good stereo sound?** A: I don't really use it to listen to music so I can't answer for that, but the sound is excellent. I mainly use it with my computer. **Q: Can I use this to listen to my iPad?** A: Ipad and Iphone! These things are great. I tried them with a sleep app to see what the sound was, but went back to my ear buds because I don't want to have to remember to take them from my office to my bed. My only sort of complaint is that the cord is super super long. Annoying for me since I'm in a confined space, but for someone in an office who needs to roll from one task to another, they'll love the convenience of the long cord. **Q: What are the size of the ear cushions on this headset?** A: The ear bud part is hard plastic - about 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch. The cushion covers are very thin and cover the plastic ear bud to keep them clean. I have pretty small ears, and I feel they are very comfortable. They don't put pressure on the ears but they also stay in place well. I've been a transcriptionist for 35 years and this is probably the most comfortable headset I've had. I’ve been using them consistently for over a month.I wear them most of the day, 5 days a week for work, typing legal transcripts. I have small ears so am always a little concerned headphones that go in my ears will be uncomfortable or just not fit. These are actually quite comfortable.These headphones don’t put a dent in my hair because they’re worn below your head (hanging down from your ears). They stay in place and don’t get in the way of my arms or keyboard because they come with a clip to clip the wire to your collar or shirt.The sound quality is very good for what I use them for. When people talk over each other or the quality of a recording could be better, I find these work better than my Bose around-the-ear headphones I was previously using for this job. Maybe these are made specifically to listen to talking and Bose are more for listening to music. I’m not sure.
