Review: Great smart item - Excellent product , Setup was very simple and straight forward. Hopefully they will save some pennies instead of having things on standby. In the app it tells you how much power you've used so again a neat way to track your power usage. I've used one plug to automate turning something on and off by leaving the appliance switched on and just switching the power on and off. Compatable with Alexa and works great. Deffo will be buying a few more.

**Q: Power reading does match appliance rating. Has anyone properly tested the accuracy of the power monitoring feature?**
A: Tested in a way. Run low powered equipment over 24 hours, seems to be accurate for about 5 watt/hour equipment.  Not tried on high powered kwh .

**Q: Can these be used in outdoor plug sockets for garden lights ?**
A: The sockets are not rated to be outside unless they are in a water proof box. Look up IP ratings for electrical components.

**Q: I cannot connect the plug to my phone. I have tried 2 different phones but it still wont connect. Anyone have a solution?**
A: I have a few of them and they all connected. Also I shared connections with other phones in my house. Haven’t had an issue with any of them

**Q: Can anyone tell me if this smart plug works on 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz? Thank you.**
A: Iv had these for about 2 weeks and they work only on 2.4Ghz.

Excellent product , Setup was very simple and straight forward. Hopefully they will save some pennies instead of having things on standby. In the app it tells you how much power you've used so again a neat way to track your power usage. I recently bought the Tapo P110 (2-Pack) and tried it with a few different things: Christmas lights, a dehumidifier, and a few lamps / small devices. Here’s how it’s performed so far: Easy to set up and control remotely — The plug connects directly over Wi-Fi (no hub needed), and setup via the app is simple. Once set up I can turn devices on/off from my phone whether I’m at home or away. Scheduling & timers are very useful — I set a schedule for the Christmas lights to turn on in the evening and off late at night; also used a timer for the dehumidifier so it doesn’t run all night. The schedule and timer features seem reliable, and save me from having to remember to manually switch devices. Energy monitoring is a strong plus — The plug shows real-time and historical power consumption. This helps me see how much electricity my dehumidifier or lights are using, which is handy for budgeting energy use (especially with heating/dehumidifiers). Compact size & good for everyday load — Because it’s small, it doesn’t block neighbouring sockets, which is useful when plugging in multiple things.
