After spraying, you can see the ants die and sometimes if there more, you will see dead ants on the scene later on, showing that it does keep working after you spray. Now if you have a more persistent infestation, you may want to use the bait ant killers. The one problem is the spray design. When trying to spray closer or if you don't press down perfectly, the spray sometimes doesn't come out well and foams up and builds up at the opening.
