It definitely blocks the smell too, I've had many people ride around in my car and have never had a person complain about smell. My favorite thing about this bag is how much it can store though. I currently have a rollabong, grinder, dugout, 2 lighters and a half o inside!!!!!! It basically holds everything I need for the car and at home!! I would not recommend this product for bubblers though, you don't want the interior getting wet.
