No strange smell and doesn't fall apart too easily like the dollar store ones. You will pay a premium for these but they hold up well. I have a nice St Ives exfoliating cream I use in the shower and hopefully this will spread it better along my dashing face! :-) I'll also use it to dab some of my shower gel. Nothing else to say, it's nice and does the job like it is supposed to.
