I realize this is 3 years old but I was reading though these questions and couldn't help but post. Induction cooktops are flat surface glass cooktops and induction means the pan has to be magnetic. They’re equally as good as the more expensive ones I bought a few years ago. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very effective for grilling. 500 is the magic number. *by K***. on September 21, 2022* These Renook grill pads are great to allow indirect cooking, to allow marination and to prevent flare ups. I have used these to cook chicken, sausage, ribs and steak (after searing). For chicken, sausage and ribs these work great because you cook at a lower temperature. They clean up fairly easily with just some warm soapy water. The recommendation is to not exceed 500 degrees with these and I can speak from experience that above that temperature, these pads start to break down and they leave silicone deposits on the meat which is no good. It cost me throwing out a chicken breast because I was cooking a steak on the grates next to some already cooked chicken and when I turned the heat up these started to break down.
