An attractive economical diesel burning heater, providing comfortable, dry heat. Manufactured in stainless steel with decorative valve cover. The Newport Diesel Fireplace 00-NEW is our most popular heater and the only bulkhead mounted model. It features the efficient 6" Stainless Steel burner. This stove is great for producing heat for heating your boats cabin or for smaller boats, the whole boat. The heat can be extended by producing hot water with the optional water coil heat exchangers for remote heating or for showers etc. The heaters reach can be further extended with the use of the Heatex stack robber system. This stove uses 3 inch diameter flue components. Use with Dickinson stainless steel flue pipe, 45 degree elbows, barometric dampers, deck-fittings and exhaust caps. Fuel pumps and filters are available or you can use a gravity tank. Installation guidelines require a minimum 4 foot flue rise and heat clearances of 6 inches or a minimum of 2 inches to an insulated surface. See the Newport owner's manual for details. Standard fuel metering for this stove is the Dickinson 3D valve for diesel. Stove Oil (3S) and Kerosene (3K) are also available as options or add ons. Could have been out of calibration due to shipping. I strongly encourage an In line fuel shut off which is very simple to attach. It does not get much buildup. We clean the burner pot every other day though. If you don't have a barometric damper, sometimes you have to clean the fuel lines when there is a lot of wind because they can get clogged.
