For a basic wardrobe staple during pregnancy, they are a decent deal. They aren't shapewear, so if you want sculpting or slimming look elsewhere. I knock off one star for pilling; within a month and a half of use, both colors of shorts started to pill noticeably pretty much all over (rather than just in high-friction areas). Some pilling is normal after significant wear and tear, but shouldn't be the case after just a month of use.
