With over 27 years combined experience in the grooming industry, the founders of Zoni Pets, LLC set out to create Happy Hoodie - a soft, expandable fabric band that makes force drying (and grooming) less stressful for pets. Happy Hoodie is the FORCE DRYING MIRACLE Hoodie for pets that groomers have come to love! CALMS, COMFORTS AND PROTECTS PETS. The gentle compression reduces noise and has a swaddling effect that can relieve a dog of anxiety, stress, fear and aggression. SIZE GUIDE. Please refer to listing photos for measuring instructions and size guide. A snug fit is often more helpful when a pet is very upset (such as force drying and fireworks). For a looser fit, choose a larger size Happy Hoodie for your dog’s head size (good when wearing for longer periods, such as post-surgery care, aerating the ears, and preventing or healing hematomas). EXAMPLE, a dog with a 15” head circumference can use the small size for a snug fit, or the large size for a less snug fit. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, IT IS EASIER FOR A PET TO REMOVE A HAPPY HOODIE THAT HAS A LESS SNUG FIT. Never leave your pet unattended while wearing happy hoodie. HOW TO USE. Simply place Happy Hoodie over the pet’s head and onto its neck. Place the ears against the pet's head so air cannot get into them and slide the band back over the top of the head to secure the ears in place. Adjust the size of the band to best fit the pet by folding over excess material once the band is on. Please note, when there is nothing upsetting a pet, some pets may not be very receptive to wearing Happy Hoodie; however, most are VERY appreciative with having it on during a stressful situation. **Q: Just how snug should this be on my dog? How do I know if it's too tight?**
A: If at least 4 fingers fit comfortably between your pet's head and Happy Hoodie, it's not too tight. For dogs with overly thick necks, fold any excess fabric on the neck onto its head or use your pet's neck measurement for sizing to aid with comfort.

**Q: How does Happy Hoodie reduce noise for my dog? I put this on my head and I can still hear through the fabric.**
A: It's similar to closing off your ear canal by pressing your ear closed with your finger. With the pet's ears covering the ear opening, Happy Hoodie’s gentle compression on the ears closes off the ear canal, which results in reduced noise.

**Q: My dog pawed at it and caused some fraying. Will it still work or will the fraying cause it to fall apart?**
A: Since this is a knitted product, fraying can happen, but Happy Hoodie is very durable! If it gets frayed, it will still keep its stretch and compression and won’t “fall apart”. Just scissor off the frayed material and keep using it as intended.

**Q: I tried this on my dog when it arrived and she didn't seem to like it. What can I do to help her want to wear it?**
A: Like any calming aid, you won't know how effective it is until you use it when your dog is upset (most dogs are VERY appreciative when it's used during stressful times!). If she is still unsure, praise/treats are helpful positive reinforcement aids.

**Q: What are the washing instructions, can Happy Hoodie go in the washer and dryer?**
A: Yes it can! Use low heat and be aware that bleach and high heat will reduce its elasticity and longevity. Please do not wash or dry with any object or material that it can snag on, such as Zippers and Velcro, as this can fray the material.
