Luckily, it's still going strong. In early 2021, the sales rep where I was buying some fancy insoles handed me a teal pen to sign for my purchase. Impressed to see a pen (and ink) in such a fabulous color, I boldly asked him if I could keep the pen. (I didn't feel too guilty since I was spending $600 for two pieces of molded plastic to go inside my shoes.) Fortunately, he was happy to part with it, telling me that he love those pens and orders them in sets that have various colors. The one he gave me was labeled 10 (1.0mm), a Bold tip (which isn't really all that bold). I soon realized that the color wasn't the pen's greatest attribute, and I was pleased to see that it was a Pilot, the brand I've most often preferred. What I like most about this pen is that the ink flows so beautifully and doesn't smear (well, except that it runs when in content with water, so probably not a good option for addressing mail during winter months). Unfortunately, before I got around to adding it, the seller changed and the price shot way up, so I'm pushing my first purchase out for a while in hopes that the price is artificially inflated due to "COVID-related supply chain issues" and will come back down.
