Navigating the menu wasn't the easiest and needs some getting used to. Dashboards on the app itself not as well presented as on the Fitbit app.

The one I bought was a little cheaper than rack rate and came with the older style Standard-A USB cable. Doesn't matter to me, but something to watch for if you want the newer Type-C cable.

Satisfied with what I got. I use it primarily to track my steps, running pace and sleep. And for what I got this is good enough. Navigating the menu wasn't the easiest and needs some getting used to. Dashboards on the app itself not as well presented as on the Fitbit app.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reicht für fast alles

Nutzung seit über 1 Jahr (einmaliger Austausch über Amazon wegen Displayundichtigkeit nach 1 wöchigem täglichen Schwimmeinsatz) Für Freizeitsportler, regelmäßig 2-3x Woche Fitness und Kardiotraining absolut ausreichend. Bei durchgehender Herzfrequenzmessung und 2-3/ Woche Sport für je ca 45 min. hält der Akku eine ganze Woche! Das MIP Display ist immer gut ablesbar und bei Drehung des Handgelenks und automatischer Hintergrundbeleuchtung sehr gut ablesbar, bei direktem Lichteinfall natürlich auch. Das wäre für mich ein entscheidener Vorteil zu den neueren OLED Polar watches. Dort bedeutet always on Display eine drastische Reduzierung der Batterielaufzeit und die neuen Uhrendisplays sind jetzt nicht so toll konfigurierbar, dass ein "Upgrade" lohnt. Mehr Sport/Gesundheits-Informationen bieten die neuen Modelle nicht. Aus meiner Sicht also kein Wertgewinn. Kein Touchscreen sehe ich als Vorteil. Die Tastenbedienung ist schnell und völlig ausreichend. Keine verschmierten Displays. Im Vergleich zu einer Apple Watch ist die Nachrichtenübermittlung an die Uhr nicht Betriebssystem oder App "eingeschränkt". Egal welche App sendet - alle Informationen von allen Apps kommen auf das Uhrendisplay. Schön wäre eine Selektion welche App an die Uhr sendet (geht leider nicht). Kopplung via App und IPhone 14 bisher gut. Sehr wenig Aussetzer. Die neue Sprachführung mit dem kürzlichen Firmwareupdate ist ganz nett, aber verzichtbar. Die Fotos zeigen die Uhr bei Tageslicht im Schatten und die sehr gute Ablesbarkeit am Handgelenk mit 18 cm Umfang. 06.08.24: Ergänzung nach vielen - auch ausprobierten - Vergleichen mit deutlich teureren Mitbewerbern: Nightly Recharge (leichte, flache Uhr Nachts): Die Uhr misst sehr genau die nächtliche Schlafdauer mit Unterbrechungen, Schlafzyklen und gibt im Vergleich zu den letzten 7 Nächten einen gut interpretierbaren Erholungswert und auch recht zutreffenden Tages Boost an (zu welchen Tageszeiten gute „Leistungen“ zu erwarten sind). Im Vergleich hierzu muss bei Garmin z.B. die ungefähre Schlafenszeit pro Tag angegeben werden, was bei wechselnden Schichten bei Schichtarbeitern fast unmöglich ist und in den Chatforen schon für Kritik sorgte, insbesondere bei den sehr hohen Preisen. Nickerchen sollen laut Polar “bemerkt” werden, aber nicht so wie bei anderen Herstellern zur Schlafenszeit gerechnet werden. Die Ein- und Aufwachzeit ist nach meiner eigenen Erfahrung sehr genau. Bei der Polar Pacer musste ich diese nie korrigieren (in der App möglich), bei der Grit X Pro hier und da - insgesamt aber sehr selten. Alle Sportarten sind bezüglich der Anzeigen auf der Uhr vielfach über das Polar Flow (im Internet und in der App auf dem Telefon) konfigurierbar (bis maximal 4 Felder pro watchface und mehreren watchfaces). Polar Flow (im Internet) selbst ist im Vergleich mit allen anderen Mitbewerbern das ultimative Tool für eine übersichtliche Zusammenfassung aller Metriken in Tagen, Wochen und Monaten (Anfang 2025 ist ein Update mit einer umfangreicheren Trainingsplanung geplant, dies war bisher ein Kritikpunkt bei Polar). Diese sehr gut strukturierten Übersichten sind meiner Ansicht nach deutlich besser wie der von Garmin. Damit kann ich über Jahre meine Fortschritte nachverfolgen (welches ich selbst seit Jahren beginnend mit der Polar V800, M430, Polar Pacer und Grit X Pro tue)- dies ist 100 mal Mehrwert wie jede App auf dem Telefon. Die Herzfrequenzmessung am Handgelenk ist ziemlich genau und bei Sportarten mit kontinuierlicher Last sehr gut (Walken etc.). Selbst beim Indoor Cycling mit wechselnder Last ist diese im Vergleich zum H10 Brustgurt perfekt (Messung am Handgelenk während der Brustgurt seine Werte an eine App / Zwift übertrug ergaben gleiche Werte) bei Krafttraining oder schnell wechselnder Last ist der H10 Gurt empfehlenswert. Cardio Load: Auch hier wird über die Zeit eine Empfehlung gegeben wann zuviel/zuwenig trainiert wurde. Mit gesundem Menschenverstand gepaart kann man so gut Progression und Übertraining erkennen. Die App und die Uhr zeigen dies sehr übersichtlich an. Es werden Vergleichszeiträume von 28 (Fitnesssteigerung/Anpassung) und 7 Tagen (Trainingsintensität) verwendet. Herzonenfrequenz Training (inkl. Lock) hilft auf dieser Uhr übersichtlich seine Trainingsziele beizubehalten. Die Uhr vibriert 2 Mal bei Überschreitung der Zone und einmmal wenn man sich wieder in ihr befindet. Auch die Unterschreitung ist ziemlich eindeutig zu “spüren”. Ein ständiger Blick auf die Uhr entfällt. Um den Lock durchzuführen ist dabei nur ein längerer Druck auf die rote Mitteltaste während des Trainings nötig. Insgesamt ist die Tastenbedienung auch für Menschen mit wenig Affinität zur Technik schnell begriffen (habe ich selbst in der Familie erlebt). Im Gegensatz zu Garmin (Fenix 7 Pro selbst getestet) ein Traum. Und ich bin sehr Technik begeistert und komme schnell mit etwas Neuem zurecht. Zur Pacer Pro und den Mitbewerbern fehlt z.B. ein Barometer und Kompass sowie die rudimentäre Navigation. Wer nicht Outdoor / Trailsport betreibt kann darauf aber verzichten. Die Pro Grit Modelle, aktuell auch das neue Modell Vantage M3 haben da noch mehr anzubieten (Höhenmessung und andere Erholungstests zusätzlich zum “Nightly Recharge”. Bei der M3 gibt es jetzt die Hauttemperaturmessung / fraglicher Nutzen? Auch Landkarten sind dabei - Achtung, es gibt keine klassische Navigation mit Strassennahmen etc.. 2025 sollen in die Karten aber zumindest POI wie z.B. Tankstellen und andere eingestellt werden). Die neue M3 hat leider ein Amoled Display und die Grit Pro Modelle sind mit dem Saphirglas etwas schlechter abzulesen und haben einen deutlich langsameren Prozessor, das neue Grit X 2 Pro. Modell hat einen schnellen Prozessor, leider aber ein Amoled Display und ist mit 48 mm doch nochmal größer, wie der Vorgänger. Bei letzteren lässt sich das Touch Display auch nicht isoliert abstellen, sondern es sind die Tasten gleich mit “abgestellt”. Etwas, dass mich an der Grit X Pro ärgert. Genauigkeit und Funktion bleiben für mich damit im Vergleich zu fast allen (auch internen) Mitbewerbern in Bezug auf Preis/Leistung ungeschlagen. Nutzt man das hervorragende Polar Flow Web, hat man als Sportler eigentlich alles. Die kommende Trainingsplanung 2025 ist dann hoffentlich auch für alle Polar Uhren verfügbar. Ich hoffe das Polar das MIP Display nicht abschafft.
