My 11 year old wrecked out on his electric bike (hit a rock on the trail & lost control), and took a NASTY tumble. He ended up with a minor concussion (among other injuries), but the ER doctor was very impressed with the performance of this helmet in the wreck, and said had my son NOT been wearing it, we would have had a MUCH different ER visit. We have to dispose of it now, because it has been in a pretty serious wreck, but I am turning right around and purchasing this same one for him again.
