They are not very hard, which is a plus, they come in nice colors and you get quite a bit for the amount they charge for the bag. They were a little smaller than we anticipated, which means the children get two for their quarter instead of one. But they are not complaining. I appreciate that the flavors are pleasant and they are no extreme use of dyes that make it taste, artificial and disgusting like some of the old school bubble gum balls we are used to. The gumballs have about a 1 to 3 minute sugar rush, and after that they are done, but I have not seen them turn into gum paste after being chewed for too long, which is always a plus for us.
