On both bands I am hitting repeaters as far as 26 miles away and I'm told my signal to the repeater is very strong. I take a point a way because I have not tested VSWR yet, but I am sure its pretty decent. I can read a number on a meter all day and it can show whatever it wants - but if its actually transmitting well - than its good. I clearly don't have alot of reflection going back into my radio, I transmitted for nearly 40 secods yesterday and the radio barely got hot. Its not TOO long as some other Mobile antennas are which I like because I don't like super obvious HAM antennas on my car. The cable is pretty durable too so thats good. The magnet base it comes with is very strong too, im overall really happy with this antenna.
