The case is roomy and strong though. **Q: What is the lining made of? Is it plastic/polyester or some type of cloth?** A: I really don't know what the material is. I have a 17.3" Dell Precision 7780, which is a pretty heft laptop, and so I had trouble finding a bag that was big enough. But I bought the 17.3 size of this bag, and it fits my laptop with room on all sides, as well as my laptop charger, my headphones, and my notebooks (and there's still room left for more). The bag itself doesn't feel bulky though, it's the perfect size and makes carrying my laptop to and from work very convenient. It has an exterior pocket, so even if your laptop is a tight fit, you will still have room for other accessories in the pocket. Also the aesthetics of the bag are very good. I got the red color, and it has a red heathered look. It's very professional while still being more fun than a simple black, and it fits nicely over your shoulder with an adjustable strap as well as the option to carry it with short hand straps. You can also remove the should strap altogether via carabiner clips. Overall 11/10, exceeded my expectations.
