To note, this chain weighs nothing. You won’t feel it when you’re wearing it. I compared the weight to a similar gold chain that I have and this one is significantly lighter. Even with ordering the thicker chain, I don’t trust it to put a pendant on it. It feels so very thin and light, so it will just be for layering. The clasp is different on each variation of chain, make sure you check the product pics so you aren’t surprised. I have a lobster clasp on mine and it’s alright. It’s stamped with .925 for silver, so it’s silver plated. The o-ring that connects the clasp to the chain had a gap in it and I was afraid the clasp would fall out so I took 2 pairs of pliers and pushed the gap closed. The workmanship could’ve been better. The color is gorgeous, it’s a very yellow gold. Overall, it’s a pretty chain, simple, and light weight.
