Review: Well worth the purchase - I have been meaning to buy a laptop cooler for my gaming laptop for ages. I don't often play games, it's mostly video editing, but when I do I like to have a good session on it and I noticed that my laptop always gets red hot. I've thrown a few games at it tonight while testing this and all in all, I'm impressed. Don't get me wrong, if you have the money to pay for a high end one, grab it. But, this will do the job. While still getting hot, it's nowhere near as hot as it is without it and after a gaming session it cools down much faster. As for the noise I read in other reviews, my laptop makes more noise than this does, so don't let that bother you! The lights are great, but if you want just a little extra fan speed, switch the lights offas it runs off USB power. It's very sturdy and doesn't come across as being built cheaply. The only thing I will say is, there were no instructions, (not that you really need any) and the phone holder is a little... well... pointless and not sturdy, no way of charging your phone while it's in its stand, iPhone 12 Pro Max just doesn't really stand well in it, so that part just comes across as a cheap after thought gimmick. All in all, I'm really impressed with it and I would recommend it to anyone.

**Q: What is the warranty on this product?**

**Q: About how many degrees cooler can I expect from this cooling pad?**
A: Before my laptop was running at a solid 88 degrees, but with the laptop cooler it usually stays at about 71. It was running very slow before and I thought maybe it was a dust problem but even after clearing my laptop out it was still running hot, I bought the fan and I’ve been happy, with no problems ever since.

A: Yes it's fine on your lap and is comfortable.

**Q: does this product require batteries to work?**
A: Hi there,
The cooling pad does not require batteries. It does however require USB power. There isn't a built-in rechargeable battery so the USB power has to be supplied all the time you need the fans (and LED lighting) to function. The moment you plug into a USB power supply the fans start straigh away, delivering a nice cool air flow to the laptop base.
I haven't tried it but would fully anticipate that, if you aren't near to a power supply then a power bank could probably be used.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good unit for the price, will save your laptop sweating in a heatwave

I bought this during the hot weather in 2025. It's not bad for the price, and has saved my laptop in the heatwaves this year. Not convinced that the fans will last forever but it lives in our holiday home that is only used for a couple of months a year. At the low setting the laptop stays cool and the fan noise is almost inaudible, gets a little noisy on maximum but I have never had to use that. I find you have to use it tilted as it is thick enough that it feels weird typing on it flat.
