Once this happens that first time, it stabilizes and the level will then drop slowly as it diffuses as needed. * * note: tried the Fresh Lemon scent and it's horrible. I got the refresh and energize one because I wanted a clean smell, not something too floral or overpowering. I also didn't want something that clashes with normal smells. I got these specifically for my car because you get more for longer and don't need to put it in the air vent to smell it.
