Works great in mud and on roads. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Boots work fine, velcro quality is crap. *by J***. on January 15, 2016* Overall, the boots themselves do the job they are supposed to. They keep my foundered quarter pony comfortable so that he can get the movement and exercise he needs. However, the quality of the Velcro on the gaiters is less than impressive. I've had my boots for only a few weeks and used them less than a dozen times. The other day when I was removing them, the outer velcro layer just ripped right off in my hand. There was no undue stress or pressure, just how I normally unstrap them. I would think that for the price, they could use high quality heavy duty Velcro instead of the plastic/vinyl backed stuff that gets brittle when it is cold and is easily ripped by bare hands.
