### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The LPs sound great

There is no one like Billie Holiday, and these are great sounding LPs. The source material was recorded between 1934 and 1958, so of course there is variation in the quality. But these pressings are great considering the original recording quality. Normally I don't buy a lot of compilations, but this is an artist where it's necessary unless you want a suitcase full of 78s. The song selections for this compilation are fantastic; I can't imagine it being better. The records do come with plain paper inner sleeves, so you'll probably want to replace those, but the gatefold is pretty decent, and has some great photos. The white vinyl is a nice touch too. Highly recommended.

I love Billie Holiday and have wanted this collection for a few years. Finally broke down and bought for my birthday. It is very elegant and looks great on my record player shelf. Plays nicely and I love the song selection. It is pricy but worth every penny.
