You need a set of A/C gauges. It is a bit tedious to explain. You will on see that on these gauges that you have 3 hoses, 1 goes to high pressure (red), one goes to low pressure (blue) and one goes to the Freon Canister (yellow). You need to pour appropriate amount of dye in the yellow hose before screwing it on the set of gauges (opposite to the end that would go on the Freon canister). Try to find a video on the subject.
