The reinforced corners make this a higher quality of sun shade that won't fall apart on you! The material is great for allowing the breeze to come through but not so much the heat of the sun! Great material and since there is no hardware, just those beautifully reinforced corners that will hold up to most harsh winds! It is light weight and easy for 1 person to put up. Review: Pleased to buy again. - This is my second sun shade from Love Story. I upgraded to a larger size after 5 years with my first. It’s still serviceable, but I wanted larger version. The terra cotta color faded a lot over five years, but mostly on top side exposed to the sun. I will move the old one to garage to keep the sun off my son’s truck. I would take it down if forecast was extreme, but it endured 40-50mph gusts many times. The shade is pretty sturdy and never tore in wind. I hung with wire rope/cable, and those broke a couple times before I added steel rope loops/thimbles to eliminate wear on cables from rubbing against fasteners/anchors. Overall a great product that provides much needed respite from the sun. ## Features - 【About Installation】Please refer to the diagrams before purchasing. To ensure you buy the correct shade sail, you need to leave 0.5-1 ft of space for accessories to avoid buying an oversized shade. In addition, due to the characteristics of this fabric, there may be a tolerance of ±4 inch from the outer edge of one D-ring to the outer edge of the other D-ring - 【Material】Made of 95% UV-resistant, 100% new HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) shade fabric, offering an 85%-90% shading rate (80%-85% for the white series). Durable stainless steel D-rings at each corner for less difficult installation - 【Full Cut】Compared with other spliced shade sails, we use the whole piece of fabric without splicing gaps in the center, which is more beautiful and has better shade performance. We also provide 3-4 thicker ropes. It is recommended to use LOVE STORY accessories for installation (accessories need to be purchased separately) - 【Customizable】We offer various sizes of customized shade sails to meet your shade needs in different areas. Please note that our shade sails are not waterproof - 【Various Application】LOVE STORY patio cover is ideal for deck in backyard, porch, pergola, pool, carport or other outdoor area, providing effective sunshade ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B072P5PX5C | | Best Sellers Rank | #20,936 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #26 in Shade Sails | | Brand | LOVE STORY | | Brand Name | LOVE STORY | | Color | Sand | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 4,705 Reviews | | Item Dimensions L x W | 192"L x 144"W | | Item Highlight | HDPE Fabric, 95% UV Block, Breathable Sunshade, Canopy for Garden Backyard Deck, NOT Waterproof, Custom Size Available | | Item Type Name | shade sails | | Manufacturer | LOVE STORY | | Manufacturer Part Number | DZ-LSSS1216 | | Material | High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) | | Material Type | High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) | | Model Name | Love Story Shade Sail | | Model Number | DZ-LSSS1216 | | Mount Type | Post Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Occasion Type | Wedding | | Other Special Features of the Product | Breathable | | Product Dimensions | 192"L x 144"W | | Product Style | Garden | | Size | 1 2' x 1 6' | | Style | Garden | | UPC | 714569299378 | | Unit Count | 192 Square Feet | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** LOVE STORY - **Color:** Sand - **Material:** High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) - **Size:** 1 2' x 1 6' - **Style:** Garden ## Images ![Rectangle Shade Sail - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71qH-c51hDL.jpg) ![Rectangle Shade Sail - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61zlITXtFPL.jpg) ![Rectangle Shade Sail - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61nXso41IQL.jpg) ![Rectangle Shade Sail - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Khe0VMEmL.jpg) ![Rectangle Shade Sail - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71VwoJ9eahL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Big area covered, no problem fighting the sun! *by A***R on May 16, 2026* Covers my porch nicely, nice big size and easy to put up too. Bought it during prime days to save some money. Got it installed and it makes the world of difference while sitting out on the back deck enjoying the evening. I would highly recommend buying the additional hardware with brackets and hooks as this only comes with a couple pieces of string and no real solution to installing it. We went with 16x12 ft which seems to be the perfect size. Very nice quality for the price. Definitely helps keep the southern heat at bay and offers great shade. ## Frequently Bought Together - LOVE STORY 12' x 16' Rectangle Sun Shade Sail Canopy UV Block Sun Shade for Outdoor Patio Garden Backyard, Sand (We Make Custom Size) - YOFIT Shade Sail Hardware Kit 6 inch for Triangle Rectangle Sun Shade Sail Installation, 304 Grade Stainless for Garden Outdoors, 80 Pcs - HOMPER Awning Attachment Set, Heavy Duty Sun Shade Sail Stainless Steel Hardware Kit for Garden Triangle and Square, Rectangle, Fixing Accessories --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/45178189-rectangle-shade-sail](https://www.desertcart.us/products/45178189-rectangle-shade-sail) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
