Flimsy feeling but perfect for making sure my neighbors are awake and aware when needed. Loud enough to draw attention and small enough to stay hidden in my keys when not in use. They are very light weight and the whistle mechanism is plastic inside the metal casing, I did have one dislodge from the whistle in transit but I've given the others away to help alert people so they don't slip on ice.
