Next day I started with 60 grit, then to 400, 600, 1000, 2000, 3000. Then used several coats of marine wax with an orbital buffer. Buffed out to a shine. The result were professional. To get this super smooth and shiny I would recommend wet sanding starting at around 220 or 320 and work your way up to about 1200. Then start with the rubbing compounds. The other way is to use a product called duratec high gloss additive and spray the gelcoat. Then you won’t have to do as much wet sanding. **Q: Do i need to use a product to make this thicker like paste to fill the holes and cracks?** A: Yes, you can use cabosil to thicken the gelcoat. **Q: Is this brushable** A: Yes this can be brushed. Keep in mind that when brushing it will leave the brush marks. Sometimes its better to roll it on.
