**Q: Does the door stay closed or can a strong gust from the AC push it open?**
A: If the door isn't snug and secure enough, pressure changes from air conditioners and other doors/windows being opened might possibly cause the door with the padded door latch cover to open. I have really enjoyed mine, they have lasted me a long time.  Now that my kids are older, I use one on our heavy garage door so that we can open it with a mere push when our arms are too full to use the doorknob.

**Q: Do these quite a door with a spring closing hinge? It's a full sized door to the garage.**
A: Hi they really help with any noise that would accrue at the door lock area. It will not allow the door to securely latch so a child could push it open. My husband is a door slammer and I have them on all doors but doors that go to the outside.

**Q: Will door shut completely with these latch covers on?**
A: Yes, my doors shut completely with the use of these covers. They are easier to open, for example a pet can potentially push the door open.
