Review: PERFECT Skims dupe - BUT BETTER - I have been searching high and low for a thong shape wear bodysuit that would actually do its job without making me look or feel like a stuffed sausage. I have one of the skims bodysuits and multiple other shape wear pieces from them, but the silicone anti-slip strips inside it irritate my skin and I hate that I have to size up for them to fit how I'd like. I have 4 year old and a 5 month old and my stomach is not what I'd like it to be. I'm 5'10" and weigh 250 right now. I wear a 38G/H, my waist is 39" and hips are 50" so I am a standard 2XL. I read other reviews saying this fits true to size, and to size down for extra compression. Based on a review by a fellow tall babe, I bought the L/XL. I was TERRIFIED, but low and behold it fits BEAUTIFULLY! My only complaint is that the thong part is extra long, so I will be altering it to be shorter. But WHOA BOY does it smooth my stomach perfectly! I have had 2 C-sections so I have the shelf and it completely eliminates the appearance of it. My boobs fit into it comfortably and I can adjust how they sit in it to either minimize them a bit or to show perfect cleavage. A: Skims sizing runs small compare to this. This bodysuit has a hook eye closure in the crotch area while skims are the snap ons. I prefer this hook as it's definitely easier to close, I was struggling more with the skims. The only thing is, skims' has better chest compression (where I like how my chest look) while this one has none. Overall, I would pick this one compare to skims, but I only bought mine this Feb and the seams are coming off by middle chest area already. I do wear it 4-5 days a week, will definitely stock up.

When I first got my package, I thought "there's no way I'm gonna fit into this" because it looked so tiny! Once I tried it on though, I really liked how it kept everything in place. I will say I loved this shapewear BUT if you have a bigger butt/hips like me you may or may not like the fit. It rolls up on the hip area. If you like a high cut Brazilian panty type fit then this is the shapewear for you, but if you're like me & don't like the shapewear to ride up on the hips then it's going to be uncomfortable for you. Either way, it's not a huge downside. It still fits & makes my butt pop out more so I like it.
