A: Mine are close to 5" and they should work fine.

A: My husband has really large feet, and he said they are comfortable. Idk about the instep being high. There is an instep built in the shoe so that it’s not just a flat sole.

A: They are for longer toed men.  My guy doesn't like them at all and won't wear them.

I am torn with these flip flops. Comfort and support is amazing, for about 30m-1h... then the strap started cutting into my foot until I had to take them off and walk back barefoot because the area was red, sore and weeping. I wish the straps hadn't hurt my foot or I would have worn them the whole time. Great thick, supportive sole though.
