I was a little sad I could only put the ladder on the right side because in the 'questions asked' page it said it could go on either. Some of the screws stripped really easily so be very careful when putting them in, it doesn't come with extra!! There were also some screws that didn't have the Allen or Phillips top at all, just a flat metal so they were useless. It took SO LONG to put together but that's coming from someone who doesn't put together huge pieces of furniture often. It is SUPER STURDY and definetley worth the price overall, most places charge like 3 times this amount.
