Apparently I am not the only person who has this problem. **Q: What size are thay?** A: These were size medium **Q: Why are all the sizes $15.99, but the xxl (which is what i need) is priced at $40?** A: This is a very old question but the answers to it are ridiculous. I have bought 2XL and 3XL underwear in the past, many brands. The bigger sizes typically only cost $2-$3 more. It's still the same way if I go in-store somewhere now, NOT $40. I have never paid anywhere near that amount anywhere in my life. The only reason I have seen those prices online is if that particular wear is no longer made by a company and people are trying to make money off of it by scalping or trying to trick others. (Hanes in particular have changed how they make theirs recently.)
