These are totally different than any other slipper I have had, the sole of the slipper is a rubbery foamy thing that is about 3/4 inch thick. After over a month of contact use, it has not flattened. Most affordable slippers get floppy and the foam become a millimeter thin with the imprint of your barefoot - leaving no support at all. The sole of this slipper makes all the difference. A game changer for me, is also the white bottoms. I have had an issue with black-soled slippers dirtying up my light carpet and leaving scuffs on my wood floor. Switch to light-colored soled slippers - and I ensure you all your flooring will look cleaner.
