Review: The best soy sauce alternative! - This is the best soy sauce alternative I’ve tried. I first tried coconut aminos as an alternative as lots of people suggest it, but I really didn’t like it. NOYA is perfect. It tastes so close to soy sauce and has been a godsend in my cooking since becoming allergic to soya. It’s fantastic that it’s also gluten free too. I use it in my Asian cooking and also to add a good savoury/umami flavour to meals, it’s very versatile. Couldn’t recommend it more!

This is the best soy sauce alternative I’ve tried. I first tried coconut aminos as an alternative as lots of people suggest it, but I really didn’t like it. NOYA is perfect. It tastes so close to soy sauce and has been a godsend in my cooking since becoming allergic to soya. It’s fantastic that it’s also gluten free too. I use it in my Asian cooking and also to add a good savoury/umami flavour to meals, it’s very versatile. Couldn’t recommend it more!

This is a lot like soy sauce - it has that moreish umami flavour and a bit of a tang. It is quite sweet though - so not good for sushi, or if you want some in a broth, or a simple savoury tasting stir-fry. I would like it to have a little more salt and less sugar, so it is more like light soy sauce and maybe more versatile.
